The choices someone makes as a child, determines his or her destination as a adult. I wanted to explore it more and go deeper into depth about it. It is very true that when growing up a person can make bad decisions or good ones; it depends on what that person wants to do in life. If someone makes a bad decision as a child, he still can’t go anywhere or do good its just going to be harder because he has already got a taste of the bad life and might like it. I would hope that person doesn’t like it and chooses to go the opposite way down the good path.
In my books they described my universal truth good I feel like, it came across like if you grow up doing bad things then all you know is to do bad, but if growing up you learned your manners, how to be respectful, and humble when your grown and on your own you will know how to do it. In my book “sold” she was a young child doing hard work so she knows what hard work and determination is she ended up going to a bad house where she became a prostitute and guys came in the house to get what they wanted and left but she knew what hard work is a she fought the first guy away because she didn’t like it. Then after a while they drugged her so she wouldn’t know where she was and that’s how guys got what they wanted from her. She did her job in that house just like she would if she was at her house, and made her way out of that horrible place.
In my books the differences are one of them has a boy as the main person and in the other one a girl is the main person, they also have different themes to them they are told at different places. The similarities I see in my books are they are both about hard work and how you should never give up, and that the choices you make as a child can determine your destination as a adult. I feel like my universal truth went very good with both of these books because in the book “sold” she wouldn’t have learned hard work at home then she might have never made it out of that horrible place but she learned hard work she knew what it took to make it out that house. In my other book “house on mango street” he worked hard with his mom and dad to make it out the house that he didn’t want to be in anymore, so he did what it took and that’s hard work and he didn’t quit so as a child if he didn’t quit when growing up he will know that quitting isn’t a option.
What I learned the most about this universal truth is that it is very true, whatever you do as a child weather it is good or bad will determine you as a adult you will either grow up and be a good a responsible young man or one that is bad and doesn’t care about anything except his self. I honestly think this is very true because my dad always talks to me about these type of things and they seem so real like there are pro people who have gone through things as a child and they let it do one of the three things to them destroy them, define them, or make them stronger and most of the time it made them stronger because they are where they are today and that’s on television making the money they have always wanted to make.
This is relevant to my own life because I am following behind a great father who has taught me everything I know today about life, hard work, and determination. My dad also tells me that what you do as child can determine what you do as a adult. What my dad always tells me is do better than what he did he tells me to finish high school and go to college and get a better job than what he has. My dad is best father anybody could ever, he always truthful about everything he says he always speaks the truth if you aren’t doing as good as he thinks you can do he will say something to you and let you know how it is. So I think when I grow up to be a young man I will know the difference between good and bad just like I do now but I will be more experienced like my father is to the day I feel like my parents are teaching the important things about life just life my universal truth is and the books I have read. My UNIVERSAL TRUTRH has really taught me about life and the importance about it the good and the bad how to recover from the bad and keep going with the good.
