Have you ever been forced to do something with an older guy or tell on your friends so they would get in the same amount or more trouble than you. These two books will teach you bravery and how to never back down.
Throughout my fiction book "Sold" it is very interesting. My Character's actions are good and bad, they are good because she wanted to take the job upon herself and go work for the family, earn money, and send it back to the family. She thought it was going to be a good house when she first arrived but a man showed up, the owner, tried to get her to do things with the guy she didn't know what to do. She bit him, and ran but she couldn't go anywhere. Come to find out, she got sold into prostitution when she thought she was going to a good place to earn money for her family. Instead she was sold into a place where men want to have pleasure by just paying a certain amount of money. She never backed down from the man; she stood up for what she knew was right and escaped from him when he tried to force her to do stuff. In my non-fiction book "Prisoner Of Tehran" she was a young teenager who lived with her mom she was against what the government was doing and ended up going to prison at the age of 16 she was so scared of what was going to happen but she never backed down from anybody she stood up to the guards.

Current Event about "Michael Jordan"
Michael Jordan was born Feb. 17 1963 in Brooklyn New York. Jordan has two older brothers, one older sister, and one younger sister when growing up he played basketball and football but his love for basketball was greater tha football. His older brother Larry always beat him when they played one on one basketabll this is what determined Michael to become a better basketball player. He played basketball for Laney High School in North Carolina. When he was a sophomore in highschool he got cut from the varsity basketball team, but instead of him giving up and not trying hard since he got cut he let that push him and make him work harder so he would make the team next year one quote he said that i will never forget is "you will never know how to succedd if you have never failed" that quote is very inspiring. He also said something else that made him work harder after he got cut he said " when ever he would work out and got tired and thought he should just quit and go home because he was tired he closed his eyes and seen that his name was not on the basketball list and it pushed him and made him work even harder." He made the team next year and lead them to a state championship. Michael recieved a schloarship from the University of North Carolina as a freshman his popularity began to grow when he hit the game winning shot in the 1982 NCCA championship game against the georgetown hoyas. He left college and entered the NBA in 1984 he was selected third in the draft to the Chicago Bulls he played his first pro game against the Washington and proved to everybody that he deserved to be apart of the elite players in the NBA. He finished his rookie season averaging 28.2 points per game, he was named rookie of the year and made the all-star team. Jordan led the bulls to the playoffs everyseaon but they didnt make the finals until 1991, 92, and 93 where Jordan led them to three straight consecutive championships. Following his third championship some troubling thigns happened Michael Jordans dad James was murdered by some people from North Carolina and that ruined his passion and drive and he felt like he didnt have to prove him self anymore so he thought he should step away from the game he then signed to play baseball he played minor league baseball with the white sox's. On March 18th, 1995 Jordan announced that he was back and he returned to the NBA for the Bulls, they lost to the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Semi-finals and Nick Anderson said " he didnt look like the old michael jordan." He still had to prove to people that he was still the best basketball player to play the game he led the bulls to 72-10 record averaging 30.4 points per game in 1996 he led them to there fourth NBA title. In 1996 he was also selected as one of the top 50 greatest players in NBA histroy. They won two more titles to make it a total of six NBA titles. Michael then retired for the second time and he said that it's final becasue he wants to spend more time with his wife and three kids, but his passion for the game would never go away he then returned to the NBA and played for the Wizards. He accomplished alot of things when he played the game of basketball, 5 time NBA league MVP, 10 time scoring champion, 6 time finals MVP, and has 6 NBAchampionships. He ended his career with 32,292 points and averaged 30.12 points per game the best in NBA history he has now passed the torch to the younger stars Jordan said "now i can go home and feel at peace with the game of basketball." Michael Jordan was one of the greatest basketball players to play the game he showed the true meaning of heart and determination.

In the story "Lord of the flies" Golding wants us to see the hyperbole and imagery being used, also golding wants to show us that Simon represents goodness but what he does.
When Simon and the littleuns find the tree with fruit in it they want some, but the littluns couldn't reach them. So Simon "pulled off the choicest from up in the foliage and passed them down to the endless out stretched hands." Golding Page 46. Golding stats " everywhere was the scent of ripeness and the booming of a million bees at pasture." Golding page 46. The author wants us to imagine all of those bees sworming towards the tree with fruit to create a beautiful sight to see in our mind. Simon is being helpful to the littluns by helping them grab the fruit off the trees that they could not reach.

Final Synthesis Essay
The choices someone makes as a child, determines his or her destination as a adult. I wanted to explore it more and go deeper into depth about it. It is very true that when growing up a person can make bad decisions or good ones; it depends on what that person wants to do in life. If someone makes a bad decision as a child, he still can’t go anywhere or do good its just going to be harder because he has already got a taste of the bad life and might like it. I would hope that person doesn’t like it and chooses to go the opposite way down the good path.

In my books they described my universal truth good I feel like, it came across like if you grow up doing bad things then all you know is to do bad, but if growing up you learned your manners, how to be respectful, and humble when your grown and on your own you will know how to do it. In my book “sold” she was a young child doing hard work so she knows what hard work and determination is she ended up going to a bad house where she became a prostitute and guys came in the house to get what they wanted and left but she knew what hard work is a she fought the first guy away because she didn’t like it. Then after a while they drugged her so she wouldn’t know where she was and that’s how guys got what they wanted from her. She did her job in that house just like she would if she was at her house, and made her way out of that horrible place.
In my books the differences are one of them has a boy as the main person and in the other one a girl is the main person, they also have different themes to them they are told at different places. The similarities I see in my books are they are both about hard work and how you should never give up, and that the choices you make as a child can determine your destination as a adult. I feel like my universal truth went very good with both of these books because in the book “sold” she wouldn’t have learned hard work at home then she might have never made it out of that horrible place but she learned hard work she knew what it took to make it out that house. In my other book “house on mango street” he worked hard with his mom and dad to make it out the house that he didn’t want to be in anymore, so he did what it took and that’s hard work and he didn’t quit so as a child if he didn’t quit when growing up he will know that quitting isn’t a option.
What I learned the most about this universal truth is that it is very true, whatever you do as a child weather it is good or bad will determine you as a adult you will either grow up and be a good a responsible young man or one that is bad and doesn’t care about anything except his self. I honestly think this is very true because my dad always talks to me about these type of things and they seem so real like there are pro people who have gone through things as a child and they let it do one of the three things to them destroy them, define them, or make them stronger and most of the time it made them stronger because they are where they are today and that’s on television making the money they have always wanted to make.
This is relevant to my own life because I am following behind a great father who has taught me everything I know today about life, hard work, and determination. My dad also tells me that what you do as child can determine what you do as a adult. What my dad always tells me is do better than what he did he tells me to finish high school and go to college and get a better job than what he has. My dad is best father anybody could ever, he always truthful about everything he says he always speaks the truth if you aren’t doing as good as he thinks you can do he will say something to you and let you know how it is. So I think when I grow up to be a young man I will know the difference between good and bad just like I do now but I will be more experienced like my father is to the day I feel like my parents are teaching the important things about life just life my universal truth is and the books I have read. My UNIVERSAL TRUTRH has really taught me about life and the importance about it the good and the bad how to recover from the bad and keep going with the good.
